DEAD – BUT STILL ALIVE

The Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial is striking in its simplicity. Etched in its black granite walls are the names of 58,156 Americans who died in that war. Since its opening in 1982 that stark monument has stirred deep emotions.

IT WAS ONLY A LITTLE . . .

  Trans World Airlines constructed what was intended to be an electrically perfect room. It was an 8ft x 10ft room built at Fairfax Airport in Kansas City, in which mechanics could work entirely sealed off from all electrical distractions.
