It is time for God’s people to SEE GOD!
Multitudes were saved
when JOHN WESLEY saw God.
Thousands of orphans were fed
when GEORGE MUELLER saw God.
Romanism trembled
when MARTIN LUTHER saw God.
Scotland fell prostrate
when JOHN KNOX saw God.
It is time for God’s people to SEE GOD!
The secret of FAILURE in the Christian life is in seeing MAN instead of seeing GOD.
When we take our eyes OFF SELF and SEE GOD and His glory and His purposes, WE WILL BE DIFFERENT! Those with whom we come in contact will SEE the difference and will be influenced.
HOW do we SEE GOD?
Binoculars are useless!
John 5:39
“Search the Scriptures … they testify of Me”
The Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to mankind
When JOB saw God, he said
“Now my eyes see You. Wherefore I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes”
When ISAIAH saw God, he said
“Woe is me for I am undone . . . here am I, send me.”
When PAUL saw God, he said
“Lord, what would You have me to do?”
IT IS TIME FOR GOD’S PEOPLE TO SEE GOD!
(to REALLY see God; to surrender self to God; to be AVAILABLE to God)
. . . . . AND . . . . .
It is time
for
God’s people
to
SHOW GOD
to the world!
# Christianity is like chicken pox. If you have it, you will give it to others.
# Those on the road to heaven should not be content to go there alone.
# You ARE a witness. You ARE either a GOOD witness or a BAD witness.
# You are either a STEPPING STONE to faith in Christ or a STUMBLING BLOCK.
# What on earth are you doing – for heaven’s sake?
# Only one life: twill soon be past. Only what’s done for Christ will last!
Thank you so much for the reminder! :)

We all need reminders. I know I do but thankfully we have the Holy Spirit to keep prompting us.

I love this. I watched a memorial video for Bro. Steve Curington (founder of Reformers Unanymous) and something he said in a testimony on the video had to do with this. It was a very sobering thought.

I first heard that saying more than 50 years ago but it is sooooooo true. We busy ourselves with so much that we are too busy to do what is most important.

So true! The Saints of God read the Bible, but do they do what they read? The Bible tells us to let our lights so shine before all men, that they may see our good works, and glorify the Father in heaven. How many times do we take advantage of those opportunities to be a witness for the Lord? Probably not as often as we could or should. Thank you for the reminder to do better. God bless!

I agree we need to use the opportunities given to us and to let our Light shine more but I also think about the other side of the coin. The fact is that EVERYTHING we say and do witnesses in either a good or bad way. Our lives are an open book to the world. They watch us and judge our Lord by what they see in us.
We need to be 100% disciples but I fail so often.
